Knowing That You Know Nothing
As life goes on, stupidity grows.
As time moves on the brain slows.
In the vastness of space, the void and mind are one.
With age comes wisdom so they say,
but thought diminishes from day to day,
until all that remains in the brain are feasting maggots.
For every clever scheme,
when humans, clever seem,
a million brainless gits are born into the world.
As time goes by and the world grows small,
people figure they know it all,
and every new day brings new proof of how foolish we are.
So heed my warning you herd of sheep,
just let it all go, don't think too deep,
or your head will implode into the nothing that it holds.
